Our story
A brand born in 2020. A saffron older than empires.
Authentic Afghan Saffron began with a simple frustration: the world called Spanish saffron "the best" while the actual best — grew in the high valleys of Herat, Afghanistan.
We launched in 2020 to change that. The world had other plans that year. But the fields of Herat kept blooming every November, the harvest kept winning world rankings, and we kept our promise to come back.
This is that promise, kept: the same pure Herati Super Negin, sealed in crystal, tested in the lab, named for the one thing we will never compromise — authenticity.

Graded to a standard, not a slogan
ISO 3632 — and why the number matters.
Saffron quality is not a matter of opinion. ISO 3632 measures three things in a laboratory: crocin for colouring strength, picrocrocin for flavour and safranal for aroma. Category I — the top grade — starts at a crocin reading of 200.

A little goes a long way. Real saffron gives you color, aroma, and flavor that powder blends can't fake.
Super Negin, or nothing
Only the all-red tip of the stigma, cut above the yellow style. Long, unbroken, deep crimson threads — the top of the top grade.
Harvest-dated, every bottle
Saffron fades with age, so we tell you when yours was picked instead of hoping you don't ask.

What we are actually for
We sell two things: a gift, and a habit.
One is the crystal bottle you hand to somebody at Eid, at Nowruz, at a wedding, or on a Tuesday because they deserve it. The other is five golden minutes a day, which is the part nobody expects to keep and everybody does.
