The Ritual, delivered

A gram of saffron is roughly sixty cups of tea. For most people that is a season. If the golden cup has become a habit rather than an occasion, a standing delivery keeps it going without you thinking about it — and it costs less than buying bottles one at a time.

What the habit looks like

One cup a day is about one bottle a season.

The three brews people actually settle into, and roughly how fast each one goes through a gram.

Daily · Herati style

The Classic

Three to five threads, water just off the boil, five minutes. At one cup a day, a 1 g Crystal Bottle lasts about two months.

≈ 60 cups per gram · one bottle per season

Weekend

The Golden Latte

Five threads steeped in 2 tbsp hot water, then warm milk, honey and cardamom. Heavier on threads — a gram runs about 40 cups.

≈ 40 cups per gram

Cooking too

The kitchen habit

If you also cook with it — qabuli pulao, sholeh zard, kheer — budget a generous pinch per dish. Households that cook weekly do better on the 5 g Connoisseur Jar at $12/g.

≈ 20 family dishes per gram

Every cup costs about 30¢ — the most expensive spice in the world is a remarkably cheap daily habit.

We sell saffron, not medicine. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Sizes that match the habit

Buy for the habit, not the occasion.

The 1 g bottle is the gift unit. If saffron has become part of the week rather than the holiday, the bigger jars bring the price per gram down.

Repeat delivery

How the standing order works

How often should I have it delivered?

At one cup a day, a 1 g bottle lasts roughly two months and a 5 g jar most of a year. Start at every three months and adjust — you can change or pause the schedule at any time.

Will each delivery be a different harvest?

Yes, once the new lot lands. Every bottle carries its harvest date, so you will always see which season you're drinking.

Can I pause or cancel?

Any time, from your account or by emailing us. No minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Does it still come in the crystal bottle?

Yes — same bottle, same grade, same lab certificate. Repeat deliveries are the identical product, not a stripped-down version.
